Attempted Burglary/Burglary-In-Progress Near Lincoln and Belmont

Arlington Heights police responded just after 5:45 a.m. Friday to a report of a vehicle burglary-in-progress and possibly limited to an attempted vehicle burglary in the 300 block of East Lincoln. A victim noticed a male/white subject reported to be in his 20’s prowling the driveway and then entering a pickup truck parked on the driveway. The subject was wearing a black jacket and was last seen heading southbound on foot.

Arlington Heights police are investigating. No word on any arrest or police contact with the subject.
