Arlington Heights police responded about 3:25 AM Thursday to a report of domestic violence with a woman injured at an apartment unit at 29 North Dryden. Police received a report from a man that a woman was at his apartment door injured by an unknown person or persons. While police were en route to the scene, they learned that the offender was reported to be her boyfriend.

The police had been to the apartment building several times recently, and last Thursday afternoon police arrested a male suspect for domestic battery at the same address.

A woman was transported to Northwest Community Hospital, and a man was arrested and transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
