Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a man found dead in a car on Dwyer just south of Sigwalt.
Police and paramedics received a report that an ex-girlfriend found a 33-year-old man in a green Infiniti that was apparently deceased. An Infiniti G20 was found parked northbound on Dwyer, south of Sigwalt Street. A male was found and confirmed deceased in the car by police and firefighter/paramedics. The girlfriend had left the scene. Police met the girlfriend at another location and transported her to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters to help with a death investigation.
The green Infiniti G20 was towed to Arlington Heights Police Headquarters for investigation. No word available on whether a weapon was used or found at the scene.
The area near the intersection was closed to vehicles for a short period.
