Mount Prospect police responded about 12:50 p.m. Wednesday to a report of two stabbing victims at Boxwood and Dogwood. Instead police found one stabbing victim and one battery victim. Two Mount Prospect Fire Department rescue-ambulances responded to the scene.
The offenders are reported to be light-skinned male/Hispanics wearing masks. One of the subjects is reported to be heavyset. Subjects were armed with a knife and a golf club.
The subjects were last seen running southeastbound from the crime scene location possibly in the 900 block of Boxwood.
