Darien Police Say No Threat After 3 Family Members Found Dead After Shots Fired Call

Darien police and Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:58 a.m. Sunday June 10, 2018 in the block of 7500 Farmingdale Drive to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found three members of the same family dead inside.

Darien police have not released how the people were killed, and have not confirmed whether any of the victims suffered gunshot wounds. However, Darien police claim the neighborhood is secure and there is no threat to the community connected to this incident.

The incident was located in an apartment complex with 3-story brick apartment buildings just south of 75th Street and just east of Plainfield Road.
