Man Arrested After Breaking Open Door to Apartment Building on Thomas

Arlington Heights police responded just before 2:10 AM Saturday to a report of a burglary to residence in progress in the 100 block of East Thomas Street. Police received a report that a man kicked in the outer door to an apartment building, and was last seen in the basement of the apartment building.

Police had the burglary suspect in custody within five minutes. One adult male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
