Vikings-Eagles Snowed Out: Survey … Gov. Rendell Says They Should’ve Played Sunday, Do You Agree?

#ad▼

The NFL moved the Vikings-Eagles game from Sunday night to Tuesday because of a blizzard that dumped about a foot of snow on Philadelphia and made travel hazardous.

“Because of the uncertainty of the extent of tonight’s storm and its aftermath, the game will be played on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. This will allow sufficient time to ensure that roads, parking lots and the stadium are fully cleared.”
— NFL spokesman Greg Aiello

The down side?
The Eagles will only have four days off before going against the Cowboys next Sunday.

Vince Lombardi would be spinning in his grave.
Gov. Ed Rendell

The game will mark the first time since 1946 that an NFL game is played on a Tuesday.
