Pedestrian Down with Police Investigation at Arlington Heights Rd and Eastman

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:05 PM Sunday to a report of a pedestrian down at the intersection of Evergreen and Eastman. At first a caller thought a pedestrian may have been hit by a vehicle, but later reported that victim may have jumped.

The victim was rushed to Northwest Community Hospital with police following within minutes.

Police are investigating a possible suicide attempt by jumping or a possible drug reaction or other medical emergency. Police are also investigating the physical locations at all levels of the parking garage.
