Report of Suspicious, Unknown Vehicle with Male Sleeping Inside Yields Narcotics Arrest at Parking Lot on Johnson Drive

Buffalo Grove police responded to report of a suspicious vehicle about 2:40 AM Wednesday and arrested a male for possession of a controlled substance in the 1000 block of Johnson Drive. Police were called for a report of a suspicious vehicle after hours in the Vapor Bus International parking lot. A gray vehicle was discovered with a male about 20-25 years-old.

Police arrived and found a male subject asleep in the car sitting in the driver’s seat with some type of narcotic set on his lap.

Lake County Sheriff’s police sent a K-9 unit to check the car for other drugs.

Police arrest one male for possession of controlled substance. Buffalo Grove police are investigating. The male driver was transported in custody to Buffalo Grove Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s vehicle was towed to a police holding area.
