Heavy Rain, Basement Flooding in Arlington Heights

Heavy rain brought basement flooding Saturday morning with some homes reporting three feet of water collecting in basements. One homeowner reported water gushing, backing up raw sewage via a toilet in a three-story condo building, just north of Prospect High School.

Areas affected:
Scarsdale near Banbury and Park
Regency Park near Peartree, East Garden Walk and North Regency Drive West
Flooding at Prospect High School circle drive and surrounding areas.

Car stranded occupied in street water in the 800 block of South Beverly Avenue.
