FRI AUG 15 2008 — A Florida resident was arrested in an apartment parking lot near Arlington Heights Road and Thomas Avenue early evening Friday after Arlington Heights Police received a tip about a drug deal. The 25-year-old man arrested was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school after the Arlington Heights police dog found about 25 grams of cocaine in the man’s pocket and in the man’s car parked across Arlington Heights Road from Thomas Middle School.
