Credit Card Lifted from Purse in Seated Dining Area at Portillo’s

Arlington Heights police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed a wallet from a purse hanging on the back of a chair at Portillo’s, 806 West Dundee Road.

The victim did not realize the theft occurred until returning home. Over $5,000 in fraudulent charges were made before the credit cards were cancelled.

The crime is reported to have occurred Friday, November 5th, 2010 between 12:30pm and 2:30pm

Possible offenders were sitting directly behind the victim.
