First-Degree Murder Charges for Marci Webber After Daughter Found Dead in Bloomingdale

Marci Webber’s bond was set at $5 million in bond court this morning after she was charged with first-degree murder Saturday afternoon. She is the mother of a her 4-year-old daughter, Maggie, who was found dead Wednesday with at least two knife wounds in the neck at a Bloomingdale townhouse in the 200 block of Amherst Court. Both were living with Marci’s mother after moving to the area from East Nassau, New York.

Marci Webber was discovered with self-inflicted wounds to the wrist and neck, and was charged and processed at DuPage County jail in Wheaton after her release from Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights.

DuPage County State’s Attorney Joe Birkett was expected to request a $5 million bond according to reports earlier this weekend.

‘Divine Mercy’ was written in blood on a wall near the bathtub where Madgalene M. Webber was found dead.
