James Daw of Naperville Found Dead in Submerged Car in Pond at Tamarack Golf Club

Naperville police and firefighter/paramedics responded to Tamarack Golf Club, 24032 Royal Worlington Drive early Friday morning for a submerged car with a man inside in a pond at the 11th hole of Tamarack Golf Club’s golf course. The man is identified as James E. Daw, 54, of Naperville, Illinois. Daw pronounced dead at 2:13 a.m. Friday.

An autopsy is scheduled for today. Foul play has been ruled out, and the incident is under investigation to try to determine a cause. Debris from the car was found near the scene before the car was discovered in the water. Daw’s body may have been submerged in water for an extended period of up to 10 hours.
