UPDATE: An autopsy conducted Thursday on a 4-year-old girl found dead in Bloomingdale townhouse, determined she suffered a deep laceration to her neck.
Bloomingdale police responded to a domestic incident in the 200 block of Amhurst Court just after 1:30 p.m. Police officers discovered — by their description — two victims and a witness.
A 4-year-old girl was reported dead and her mother discovered with self-inflicted injuries after the domestic incident inside a townhouse.
The injured mother was taken to Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights by firefighter/paramedics.
Information about how the 4-year-old girl died is not available.
