Armed Robbery Outside Lot at Outback Steakhouse

Buffalo Grove police responded about 1:00 a.m. Sunday to Outback Steakhouse, 720 Lake Cook Road near Lake Cook Road and Weidner to a report of an armed robbery of two victims at an outside lot near the restaurant. The offenders approached two victims from the northeast side of the building.

The offenders are described as three male/Hispanics wearing black hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans. At least one of the offenders was wearing a nylon stocking mask. All three offenders were described as being in their mid-20’s.

Offender #1 was described as 5′ 8″ 150 LBS with dark short hair.

Offender #2 was described as 5’10” 150 LBS

Offender #3 details, except for wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, were not available.

One of the offenders displayed a black semi-automatic — possibly a Glock.

The offenders took $300 from one victim and $20 from the other victim. The offenders also took cell phones from both victims. A key ring with car keys and house keys was taken from one of the victims. The key ring had a University of Illinois emblem and a Halloween ghost on the ring.

A vehicle description and the last known direction of travel of the offenders was not available at the time of publishing this post.

Arlington Heights police assisted Buffalo Grove police in a search of the area with a K-9 unit.
