Vandalism in Progress at Condo Property on South Wilke

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:10 a.m. Tuesday of vandalism in progress in the 1200 block of South New Wilke Road. A resident confronted two male/Hispanics who were in the process of vandalizing property at condominium grounds. The youths, about 16-17 years-old, were drinking beer and writing on a bench. Both had black T-shirts with one wearing blue jeans and white shoes. The two youths fled toward the tennis courts after they were confronted by a resident.

Arlington Heights police caught up with the two suspects and took one to the Rolling Meadows police officer assigned to Rolling Meadows High School. The second suspect was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
