Drunk and Disorderly in Arlington Heights Downtown

#ad▼

The Arlington Heights Police Department was kept busy following up on reports of disorderly acts involving alcohol during rush hour Monday evening.

The first call involved one man passed out and vomiting on the grate of a building near Vail and Sigwalt. An ambulance was called when police found a man with alcohol in his possession unconcious at the scene.

The second call came in about 30 minutes later for a group of three males drinking and laying on picnic tables at Memorial Park on Fremont west of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. Ten minutes later another caller reported that three males were drunk and disorderly in front of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library at 500 North Dunton Avenue. Most likely the group at the library were the same group at Memorial Park, since the Memorial Park group was gone when police arrived.

In the midst of these calls, a second ambulance was called for a homeless man in distress at the train station at 45 West Northwest Highway. It is unknown if alcohol was involved at the train station call.
