An Arlington Heights Police report of criminal defacement with graffiti at the Union Pacific pedestrian underpass at Davis and Bristol [MAP/SAT] in Arlington Heights was filed at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Similar graffiti with letters ‘OFL’ or ‘OPL’ was first reported on the walls of the parking garage on South Evergreen Avenue in downtown Arlington Heights and has also been reported at the Vail Avenue garage, South Middle School, a business in the 2600 block of South Clearbrook Drive and the hockey rink walls at Heritage and Pioneer parks.

Village ordinance requires immediate removal of graffiti, which left displayed can indicate lack of attention to neighborhoods and invite even more crime.
