Arlington Heights police received a report before 7:10 a.m. Wednesday of criminal damage to property at Dryden School, 722 South Dryden Place. Garbage was strewn across the parking lot of the school. Arlington Heights police are investigating.

The area has been hard hit by vandalism the past few weeks. Yesterday a broken window was reported at Dryden School. On June 4, 2010 three high school-aged males were sighted in the evening starting a garbage can on fire at Dryden School. They were last seen near Mayfair and Banbury minutes after the fire, but were not apprehended that night. Multiple vandalism cases involving egging and damage to landscape lighting were also reported last weekend just north of the school. A burglary to vehicle in the 600 block of South Lincoln Lane, just north of the school, was also reported yesterday morning.
