Two Men Shoot Handguns Into the Air on Johnson Dr Near Milwaukee Ave, Three Arrests

Buffalo Grove police received a report about 5:05 a.m. Saturday that two men shot pistols into the air on Johnson Drive near Milwaukee Avenue. Two men got out of a blue Lexus SUV, and each male/white fired his own handgun into the air. By 5:15 a.m. Buffalo Grove police were committed to a traffic stop of the described vehicle on Milwaukee Avenue, just south of Pekara Drive.

Police were able to identify the subjects as the suspects in the gun shooting complaint. Also, a street light was discovered shot out by police, and six or seven spent rounds of a .40 caliber ammunition were also found by police. Proceeds that appeared to be from a theft were also found nearby on Inverrary Lane. No confirmation that the items were related to the ‘shots fired’ subjects.

Buffalo Grove police transported three subjects in custody to Buffalo Grove police headquarters.
