Miguel Otero Charged with Murder of Jeanenne Cohn

Miguel Otero, 1500 block of Victoria Lane, North Chicago, has been charged with the murder of Jeanenne Cohn, 41, whose unclothed body was found about 4 a.m. Saturday with blunt trauma to her face in a yard on the 1400 block of Victoria Avenue. Jeanenne Cohn lived in the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue.

Lake County Coroner Richard Keller reports that homicidal violence caused the death of Jeanenne Cohn, but that a toxicology test also showed that she cocaine in her system. Miguel Otero, 26, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. North Chicago Police Department and the Lake Cdounty Major Crime Task Force are investigating.
