BGPD Foot Pursuit After Traffic Stop, One Male Tasered and in Custody

Buffalo Grove police were involved in a foot pursuit after a traffic stop near Huntington Lane and Dundee Road in Wheeling. An offender was captured about a block north of Dundee Road near Arlington Drive and Canbury Court in Wheeling just after midnight. The offender was tasered. Paramedics were called for any possible injury as a result of the taser. The offender was transported to Northwest Community Hospital, and later to Buffalo Grove Police Department Headquarters. The offender’s vehicle was towed to a police holding area. The nature of the charges are unknown.
