Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:00 p.m. Saturday of a battery to a female in the 1300 block of South Vail Avenue. Some subjects involved in the battery left the scene and were being sought by police Saturday night.

At least two possibly intoxicated juvenile females were found near Juliette Low School after being missing for a short time from the Vail Avenue scene — possibly related to the investigation of the battery case. The first female that was found was reported lying near the curb near Juliette Low School about 9:45 p.m. by a passerby. The first female was unable to communicate with the passerby. A second female was found by police unconscious in the school field at Juliette Low School. That officer had been investigating the first unconscious juvenile female when he found the second female about 10:30 p.m. Paramedics were called twice to the Juliette Low School area.

One female adult was arrested from the 1000 block of West Cypress related to the battery from the 1300 block of South Vail Avenue, and taken into custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters just after 11:00 p.m.
