Female, Wanted, Arrested After Short Foot Pursuit from Shell Station

Arlington Heights police were involved in a short and quick foot pursuit from the apron of the Shell Station at Algonquin and Arlington Heights Road Saturday about 5:40 p.m. The Arlington Heights police officer had just stopped the young female/black driver when she bolted toward the back of the gas station. She was wanted on previous charges of assault and aggravated battery to a sheriff police officer. Within a minute she was in custody at the back of the gas station.

The suspect was transported to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters.

The offender’s Chevy van was towed to a police holding area.
