Lake County Sheriff’s Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the National City Bank at Half Day Road and Old McHenry Road at about 8:00 a.m. Saturday.
The offender is described as a male/black, 5′ 10″, wearing a black Yankees cap, a black jacket, jeans and brown shoes. The offender displayed a handgun, fled with cash, and was carrying a black backpack.
The offender was last seen westbound Route 22 in an unknown vehicle.
