Criminal Damage to Property in Progress Vail & Northwest Highway

Arlington Height police received a report about 9:10 p.m. Sunday night that a white male with no shirt and dark pants was spray painting graffiti on a building in the area of Northwest Highway and Vail Avenue just before 9:10 p.m. The white/male was with two other white males according to the report.

Arlington Heights police officers responded immediately, but found no criminal activity in progress. Three white males, one of them described as a large white/male, that matched the 9-1-1 call description, were questioned by police at the Marathon gasoline station at Vail and Northwest Highway. The police had just met with males minutes before the 9-1-1 call, and after meeting the three males again, saw no signs of criminal activity. No graffiti vandalism in the area was detected by police.
