LifeFitness of Schiller Park, IL today announced seamless Apple iPod integration to its commercial exercise equipment.
Apple iPod users will be able to (1) plug in and charge their iPods, (2) watch video on LifeFitness equipment’s large LCD screen and (3) control thier iPod music libraries from the console. Availability is set for March with the rest of the line to follow later in the year. A demonstration will be available at the IHRSA Convention in San Francisco, March 28-31 (ihrsa2007.org).
The LifeFitness-iPod-integration allows exercisers to view video content on the larger LCD’s of the LifeFitness equipment while working out.
The LifeFitness-iPod connection powers and charges the iPod. Users can plug headphones directly into the LifeFitness equipment console or the iPod audio port for listening while the iPod is safely stored in the Life Fitness-iPod holding tray.
