Cook County Sheriff’s Squad Car Involved in Crash at Lake Cook and Rand Road

Long Grove Fire Department paramedic rescue ambulances transported at least two patients for a personal injury accident at Rand Road (Route 12) and Lake Cook Road that occurred just after 9 a.m. Monday. One Cook County Sheriff’s Deputy was possibly injured in the accident. Victims were transported to Northwest Community Hospital.

Long Grove Fire Department responded with two ambulances. A Palatine Fire Department paramedic rescue ambulance was returned before they arrived. Lake County Sheriff and Palatine Police were on the scene for accident management.

During the same time period, Palatine Fire Department paramedics were called to handle an ambulance call for a sick person in Arlington Heights, while Arlington Heights Fire Department was busy with multiple calls.
