Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:30 p.m. of a theft of a purse at Volz Park, 1001 West St. James Street. The offender was described as a male/white in his 70’s or 80’s, medium-to-heavy build with gray hair. He was wearing a dark jacket. The purse he stole was described as a large, black purse.
