A victim is trapped in a 40-foot sand hopper 24W121 Army Trail Road in
Bloomingdale [MAP/SAT] this Wednesday night. Originally Arlington Heights Fire
Department, Oak Brook Terrace Fire Department, West Chicago Fire
Department, and Wood Dale Fire Department Trench Rescue Teams and a
Streamwood ambulance responded to the 2nd Alarm Trench Rescue Team Box
Alarm.
Now all MABAS Division 1 Trench Rescue Teams are due on a 3rd Alarm.
Trench Rescue Technicians specialize in excavation type rescues. Two
fire department tower ladder trucks are raised to the sides of the sand
hopper.
