More MacGyver Bombs Tossed in Neighborhood by Lake Arlington

#ad▼

More handmade bombs made with Drano and aluminum foil were tossed at a car and
a house near East Peachtree Lane and North Waterman Avenue just north of
Lake Arlington [MAP/SAT] late Sunday night.

The Drano bombs are also called MacGyver Bombs, named after the main character of MacGyver, who was an extremely resourceful former secret agent.

WARNING NOTE: Domestic alkali drain cleaner burns involving the hand and forearm are common. Victims that fail to do immediate water lavage at home can suffer severe burn wounds that ultimately require excision and grafting. Cosmetic results are rarely excellent.

Burns occuring on the face are devastating. Exposure to the eyes could cause blindness. Skin damage could cause permanent scarrring.

Mixing drain cleaner with unknown chemicals from used containers could cause gases to be released that could cause serious injury or death.
