Radar is clear in northern Illinois at 2:00 a.m. but storms are skimming along the Illinois-Wisconsin border.

Some rain could begin as early as 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Chance of scattered thunderstorms returns Wednesday, some possibly becoming strong in the afternoon around 1:00 p.m. and lasting until 9:00 p.m. Periodic, but low, chances for storms then continue through the end of the week into the weekend.
