The Arlington Heights Police Department released information at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026 that an investigation is underway after a reported criminal sexual assault that occurred on the top level of the Eastman Parking Garage, 155 E. Eastman Street (Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street) on Saturday afternoon June 13th, 2026.
Early Saturday evening, June 13, 2026, a teenage, juvenile victim and her guardian contacted police to report the incident. According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was approached by an unknown individual on the top level of the parking garage sometime around 3:30 pm. The subject allegedly asked the victim for assistance with an issue involving his vehicle. The victim entered the subject’s vehicle, where the sexual assault took place.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, 200-250 pounds, with dark hair. He was reported to be wearing a black t-shirt and black athletic shorts. The vehicle is described as an older model, gray sport utility vehicle. Limited suspect and vehicle information was available at the time of this release.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. The information currently available is preliminary and subject to change as investigators continue to gather evidence and conduct interviews. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she is undergoing a precautionary medical evaluation.
Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation and limited information available at this early stage, no further information is available at this time.
