
Police officers from Arlington Heights responded Tuesday evening before 6:15 p.m., June 9, 2026 to a report of an aggressive, suspicious person near Douglas Avenue and Olive Street in Arlington Heights. The caller and his son were on a bike ride when a suspicious person attempted to attack them with his skateboard.
The caller described the subject as a male/white, 5’10” to 6’0″, thin build, about 20-30 years old, with tan skin, brown wavy or curly hair about shoulder length, wearing blue jean shorts, a sleeveless black shirt, and black Van shoes.
He allegedly tried to attack the caller and his son while they were near an unspecified park near Orchard Church, 1330 North Douglas Avenue in Arlington Heights. The offender was also described as if he “seemed to be under the influence and very aggressive.”
After the incident there was a discussion with neighbors that indicated the male subject lives nearby in the neighborhood, and has caused problems historically.
Arlington Heights police officers checked the area and completed a report.
