Chicago Police Department Community Alert released Tuesday, April 7, 2026: Area Five Detectives are seeking to identify and speak with the above pictured individuals in relation to a homicide that occurred in the block of 3900 West Belmont Avenue near Milwaukee Avenue in the Avondale neighborhood, located within the 17th (Albany Park) District.
The victim was found beaten and later died in March 2026.

Chicago Police Looking for Driver that Fled Scene on Foot After Crashing SUV into a Viaduct, Killing a Passenger on Kostner Ave Near 5th Ave the North Lawndale Neighborhood in Chicago
Inside a Honda Pilot involved in a hit-and-run crash, the victim, a 59-year-old male, was a passenger who died of his critical injuries. The driver of the crashed vehicle left the scene before first responders arrived on scene in the 1000 block of South Kostner Avenue (near 5th Avenue) in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago on Friday, March 6, 2026 at approximately 10:14 p.m.
Initially there was no description of the driver.

An 18-year-old male victim was killed after the driver of a 2015 Ford Explorer struck his bicycle, as well as a second vehicle in the block of 6300 South Kedzie in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Chicago on April 5, 2026 at 1:10 a.m. The driver fled from the scene on foot.
The initial video description from Chicago PD indicates that the suspect is an unknown driver in a 2015 red Ford Explorer. A surveillance video released from a local business at the intersection shows the hit-and-run driver walk away from his crashed Ford Explorer.
