Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Clinton, Louisiana responded to a mass shooting Saturday morning, January 31, 2026 at the “Mardi Gras in the Country” parade near the East Feliciana Parish Courthouse.
Early report indicates six people, including one child, were injured — possibly three were suffering gunshot wounds.
As of 3:08 CDT there were no information releases from the Clinton Police Department or the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office.
