Police from Arlington Heights responded Monday morning, December 29, 2025 to a report of a theft of US Mail at the United States Postal Service Post Office, 909 West Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights. The theft reportedly occurred just before mail carriers were preparing to organize the deliveries for the day.
The eyewitness report indicated that multiple trays were stolen that were possibly destined for USPS customers on the south side of Arlington Heights. Reportedly, an offender drove up to the loading dock on the south side of the post office, got out of the vehicle, and stole multiple trays containing US Mail.
Initially, there was no vehicle description available, and there were no suspect physical description characteristics available. Also, a precise time of the theft was not available.
Arlington Heights police officers were dispatched, and were on the scene Monday morning.
