Arlington Heights police officers arrested a registered sex offender about 6:43 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Harmony Park, 7 South Vail Avenue at the southeast corner of Vail Avenue and Campbell Street in Arlington Heights.
Jack A. Bockins, age 72, was allegedly loitering within 500 feet of a public park, which is a prohibited action by a registered sex offender. Jack Bockins is described as 6’6″ 200 LBS. He was convicted in Cook County, charged with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse that that had allegedly involved a 9 year-old victim when the offender was 51 years-old.
The suspect was cited and released, and assigned a court date. Jack A. Bockins is scheduled to appear at Cook County Circuit Court Rolling Meadows in Room 203 at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
