Police from Chicago responded about 9:47 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2024 to an armed robbery at the Citibank, 180 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The FBI released surveillance images of the bank robbery at the Citibank located at the southwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street, and not far from Millennium Park. The bank is located on Michigan Avenue between Lake Street and Randolph Street.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading directly to the arrest and conviction of the unknown suspect.
On September 16, 2024 at approximately 9:47 AM and unknown suspect rob the Citibank located at 180 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago Illinois, according to the FBI.
The offender displayed a demand note, and implied a handgun was involved in the robbery.
The unknown male/white suspect was described in his 30s or 40s, and wore a black and white artistic patterned hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.
The bank robber wore the hood over his head, but did not wear a mask. His face showed facial hair in a 5 o’clock shadow style.
The robber’s height was described as 5’6″ to 5’7″ with a build described as “medium”
The suspect fled on foot, but no direction of travel was described in the FBI advisory.
No injuries were reported.
