Police, firefighters and paramedics from Wheeling responded about 10:23 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024 to a report of a crash with injuries and entrapment at Lake Cook Road and Northgate Parkway at Wheeling.
Police, firefighters and paramedics arrived within five minutes and discovered two vehicles with heavy damage. Each vehicle had one patient entrapped.
Fire department paramedics provided medical treatment and extricated both patients by 10:41 p.m.
Firefighters and paramedics from Glenview Fire Department and Lincolnshire Fire Protection District provide fire station coverage in Wheeling while Wheeling firefighters and paramedics were at work at the scene.
Wheeling Police Department is investigating the crash.
