Police from Schaumburg with the assistance of a police helicopter crew responded about 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024 to a report of a missing person, Robert Schindler, who lives near the area of Schaumburg Road and Meacham Road. According to the Village of Schaumburg, Robert Schinder, who was last seen early this morning, made suicidal statements, according to the Village of Schaumburg.
Robert Schindler is described as a white male, age 42, 5’10”, 150 LBS with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen about 8:30 a.m. wearing a Navy blue coat, gray sweatpants, and brown hiking boots.
He is considered missing, endangered.
According to the Village of Schaumburg there is a very large police presence searching multiple areas and using all available resources to locate Robert. A Missing Persons automated message (Everbridge “Reverse 9-1-1) has been sent out through Northwest Central Dispatch System to a region in the Schaumburg area.
