Police and firefighters from Arlington Heights responded about 6:53 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 to a report of a crash into a wall at Culver’s, 2060 East Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights. The driver of a Chevy pickup truck hit the corner of a brick wall, just to the right of the front entrance on the east side of the building.

No injuries were reported. The driver of the pickup truck was a senior male adult.

A handicapped reserved parking space is located directly in front of a sidewalk that is in front of the wall that was hit.

The force of the crash was enough to crack bricks and push in the bricks slightly. The damage was also located where the Automatic Sprinkler connection for the fire department is located. The water connection did not appear to be damaged.

Arlington Heights Fire Department Engine 2’s crew reported they did not need the building department to come out to assess the damage.
