Palatine Police and Fire Department personnel responded about 6:02 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023 to a report of a person down and bleeding in the 800 Block of S. Plum Grove Road in Palatine. Upon arrival officers located a male victim, approximately 30 years of age, on the front porch of a residence. The victim had sustained life threatening injuries due to an apparent gunshot wound and was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Palatine Police Department continues to investigate and asks anyone with information regarding this incident to call 847.359.9000.
