Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating an overnight armed robbery Sunday/Monday that occurred at Loves Travel/Truck Stop in Wadsworth.
Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded about 3:40 a.m. November 6, 2023 to Loves Travel/Truck Stop in the 43100 block of North Route 41, Wadsworth. Deputies arrived and determined a man entered the store area, approached one of the clerks, displayed a firearm and demanded money. He stole cash from the register and fled in a black SUV.
The offender was described as a six-foot African American man, average weight, possibly in his 40’s. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an American flag, camouflage pants, and boots.
