Police officers from Elk Grove Village responded about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023 to a report of an armed robbery at Nerge Road and Meacham Road in Elk Grove Village. Details of the location and robbery were not initially available. There is a Casey’s Goodstop gas station and convenience store at the northwest corner, and a 7-Eleven store at the southwest corner.
The offender was described as a male/white, age 40 with a tattoo on the top of his hand, wearing a gray beanie cap, gray hoodie, black pants, and white gym shoes.
The offender displayed a black handgun.
The offender fled in a black sedan eastbound on Nerge Road from Meacham Road.
