Palatine Police Detectives have charged three individuals with multiple felony charges stemming from an ongoing investigation involving drug sales at the Red Roof Inn located at 1200 North Frontage Road in Palatine.
On April 18, 2023 detectives arrested 52-year-old Carlos A. Cooks of the 1400 block of East Dundee Road Palatine and charged him with 14 felony drug counts, including manufacturing/delivery heroin, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cocaine and manufacturing/delivery of cannabis. Cooks was transported to the Cook County 3rd District Courthouse in Rolling Meadows where his bond was set at $50,000 cash bond. Cooks next court appearance is scheduled for May 12, 2023 at 9am in room 108 in Rolling Meadows.
On April 26, 2023 detectives arrested 38-year-old Kory M. Brown of the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. Palatine and charged him with 11 felony counts, including manufacturing/delivery cocaine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing/delivery of heroin. Brown was transported to the Cook County 3rd District Courthouse in Rolling Meadows where his bond was set at $10,000, needing to post 10% to be released from custody. Browns next court appearance is scheduled for May 19, 2023 at 9am in room 108 in Rolling Meadows.
Also, on April 26, 2023 detectives arrested 22-year-old Brianna Kwas of the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. Palatine and charged her with 4 felony counts, including manufacturing/delivery of cocaine and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Kwas was transported to the Cook County 3rd District Courthouse in Rolling Meadows where she was released on a $30,000 recognizance bond. Kwas next court appearance is scheduled for May 19, 2023 at 9am in room 108 in Rolling Meadows.
