Arlington Heights police responded about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 to a report of an attempted home invasion at an apartment in the block of 500 North Walnut Avenue in Arlington Heights.
The victim at the apartment reported that an unknown offender removed a window screen , opened the window and began crawling though in attempt to enter his apartment. The resident shouted at the offender, who then left the area heading eastbound on foot.
The offender is described as a Hispanic male between 25 and 30 years of age, wearing a camouflaged hooded sweatshirt and low hanging blue jeans.
