Police officers from Orland Park responded sometime before 2:15 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 to a report of an armed robbery of an armored car in the area of the Orland Ale House and the Xfinity store at 14225 95th Avenue in Orland Park
By 2:30 p.m. the Orland Park Police Department alerted the public that police officer were “currently” in the area of the Orland Ale House, 14225 95th Ave, for an armed robbery that occurred to the armored car. According to the Orland Park Police Department offenders fled the Orland Park area after taking an unknown amount of money.
No one was injured during the incident.
According to the FBI, agents of the FBI responded to the armored car robbery at the Xfinity storefront, 14225 S 95th Avenue at 2:15 p.m.
According to the FBI, three individuals, believed to be black males, exited an SUV driven by a fourth suspect. All the offenders out of the vehicle were brandishing semi-automatic pistols. The suspects then forced the driver on to the truck, taking what was inside. The suspects then fled in the SUV. The FBI provided some surveillance images of the armed robbery. At least one of the suspects, wearing a purple hoodie and wearing a black face mask, held a handgun with an extended magazine to the torso of one of the armored car personnel.
