Schaumburg police responded about 4:34 PM Sunday February 5, 2023 to a report of a fight in progress in front of Champs Sports at 5 Woodfield Mall D-101 in Schaumburg, IL. Police received a report that four male suspects were involved in a battery and were fleeing. Schaumburg police are investigating.
According to the Schaumburg Police Department, four males were fighting, and dispersed before Schaumburg police officers arrived. Initially no arrests were made. There were no reports of any victims or injuries on Sunday.
An Illinois State Police bulletin indicated that four offenders were wanted for investigation of battery and fleeing and eluding at 5 Woodfield Mall.
The suspects were described as …
#1. male/black with a mask, wearing all black, and wearing white shoes;
#2. male/black with a mask, wearing a gray hoodie and black pants;
#3. male/black with a mask, wearing black pants and black shoes; and
#4. male/black with a mask, not further described.
The offenders fled in a maroon Jeep, and were last seen heading southbound on Route 53 from Higgins Road.
